〝2004國巨科技藝術國際學術研討會〞由國巨文教基金會與國立台北藝術大學科技藝術研究所共同主辦，於2004年5月舉辦 ，這是台灣首次舉辦的科技藝術的大型學術研討會，主題含概媒體藝術、數位藝術、電子音 樂、媒體技術開發。期望透過此活動廣邀國內外相關學者、藝術家、科技專家，能把科技藝 術相關之創作評論與研究成果透過論文發表分享，以加速台灣與世界先鋒科技藝術接軌。本 研討會亦配合「2004台灣國際電子藝術節」活動舉辦相關座談會，藉此讓台灣能與 全球科技藝術界建立良好互動機會。
